Sidley Continues Expanding Global Finance Capabilities With Partner Glenn Kunkes

Charlotte – Sidley is pleased to announce that Glenn Kunkes has joined the firm’s Global Finance practice in Charlotte. Mr. Kunkes joins from Mayer Brown, where he was a Banking & Finance partner along with three associates, Carli Berasi, Jake Blakeslee, and Mariah Stephens. The team joins from Mayer Brown.

Mr. Kunkes represents clients in the structuring and negotiation of an extensive variety of structured finance asset products. He regularly advises asset managers in broadly syndicated collateral loan obligation (CLO) transactions; he also counsels domestic and international financial institutions in “bank-funded” CLOs and other related asset-based lending (ABL) facilities, including infrastructure CLO warehouse facilities and “hybrid” facilities which include an ABL component and either a subscription line component or a net asset value (NAV) component. Mr. Kunkes also advises sponsors, underwriters, insurance companies, and other finance companies in warehouses and securitizations involving various asset classes, including student loans, consumer loans, “buy now, pay later” loans, and solar loans.
