Kate Roberts Honored as a 2023 “Leader of Influence” by the Los Angeles Business Journal

Sidley’s Kate Roberts has been named to the Los Angeles Business Journal’s 2023 “Leaders of Influence: Labor & Employment Attorneys” list. This is the second consecutive year she has been included in the annual list, which celebrates the outstanding professionals making up the Los Angeles landscape.
Los Angeles Business Journal lauded Kate’s “unusually wide range of recent accomplishments,” including a complete victory at trial in a major employment wage and hour lawsuit and her leadership of the Sidley team in numerous major transactions and union negotiations.
Kate co-chairs Sidley’s Labor, Employment and Immigration practice. Her experience extends to all aspects of employment litigation, counseling, and labor relations. She routinely handles wage and hour class and collective actions and claims under California’s Private Attorney General Act. Kate maintains an active, traditional labor practice in the healthcare, energy, performing arts, and nonprofit sectors, and she routinely handles litigation stemming from executive disputes and employee claims of discrimination, harassment, wrongful termination, and other causes of action under state and federal law.
