Sidley Represents Freshpet in Resolution of Proxy Contest with JANA Partners

Sidley represented Freshpet, Inc. (Nasdaq: FRPT) in its settlement of its proxy contest with JANA Partners. Pursuant to the cooperation agreement, Freshpet has appointed two independent directors to its Board of Directors. JANA had nominated a slate of four candidates for election to Freshpet’s Board.
 
Sidley’s team was led by partners Derek Zaba and Jessica Wood and included associates Brian Koziara, Eric Goodwin, Jessica Li, Lauren Toccalino, Henry Dickinson, and Sarah Wiley as well as paralegal Evan Hughes.
