Sidley Represents Castle Creek Capital in Its Investment in FirstSun’s Acquisition of HomeStreet

Sidley is representing Castle Creek Capital in its US$30 million co-investment in FirstSun Capital Bancorp, the holding company of Sunflower Bank, to help fund FirstSun’s merger with HomeStreet, Inc., the bank holding company for HomeStreet Bank. The investment was part of a US$175 million capital raise. Under the agreement, HomeStreet and HomeStreet Bank will merge into FirstSun and Sunflower Bank, respectively. The transaction remains subject to customary closing conditions, including regulatory and shareholder approvals.
