Sidley Represents Abbisko Therapeutics in Its US$1.9 Billion Strategic Collaboration With Eli Lilly and Co.

Sidley represented Abbisko Therapeutics in its expanded strategic collaboration with Eli Lilly and Company to support the discovery and early development of multiple therapeutic programs. Under the agreement, Abbisko will leverage its drug discovery and early development capabilities to advance programs against targets selected by Lilly. The collaboration includes an undisclosed up-front payment and provides for up to US$1.9 billion in potential development, regulatory, and commercial milestone payments, as well as tiered royalties on annual net sales.

The Sidley team was led by Joshua Hofheimer (Technology and Life Sciences Transactions) and included Jean Qiu and Karena Kong (Technology and Life Sciences Transactions) and Emily Marden (Food, Drug and Medical Device).
