Sidley Represents SandRidge in Acquisition of Assets in the Mid-Con Region

Sidley represented SandRidge Energy, Inc. (SandRidge) (NYSE: SD) in a definitive agreement to acquire certain producing assets and leasehold interests in the Cherokee Play formation in the Mid-Continent region. The acquisition includes interests in 21 wells and eight proven development locations, with a net production of ~3.0 MBoed (~43% oil) and ~7,000 net leasehold acres which will provide additional inventory and expand efficient operations in the area.

The Sidley team was led by partner Stephen Boone, with transactional assistance from associates Grace Binger and Scott Lindberg (Energy and Infrastructure) and additional support from partners Zackary Pullin (Tax) and Heather Palmer (Environmental).
