Biography
CAMERON BAXENDALE focuses his practice on merger and acquisition, private equity, and reinsurance transactions. Within Cameron’s practice, he regularly represents insurance companies, insurance intermediaries, private equity sponsors, asset managers, institutional investors, investment banks, and other financial services institutions in connection with acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, private equity investments, and reinsurance transactions.
Prior to joining Sidley, Cameron was an analyst at BlackRock.
He has passed Level I of the Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA) program and completed Harvard Business School’s Credential of Readiness (CORe) program with honors.
While attending the University of Toronto, Cameron served as editor of the Canadian Business Law Journal.
Cameron is fluent in French.
