Biography

NICK CARBALLO earned his J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School.

Prior to attending law school, Nick graduated summa cum laude from the University of Southern California, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in political science and Spanish.

Prior to joining Sidley, Nick worked as a legal assistant at a Chicago-based immigration law firm.

Representative Matters

Nick’s representative matters include:

  • Smith & Nephew PLC in their acquisition of Integrity Orthopaedics, Inc., a commercial developer of rotator cuff repair technology.
  • GT Independence, a financial management services company that helps customers select and hire their own caregivers, in connection with its acquisition by H.I.G. Capital.
  • Itron, Inc. (NASDAQ: ITRI), an AI-powered intelligent infrastructure company that helps utilities and cities manage energy, water, and other services, in its all cash US$525 million definitive agreement to acquire Locusview, Ltd., a privately held utility-focused software and services company based in the United States and Israel.
  • SupplyHouse in connection with a minority investment from KKR & Co.
  • Vector Capital in its A$183 million acquisition of Bigtincan Holdings Limited.
