Jonathan Lesgart

JONATHAN LESGART earned his J.D. from the University of Miami School of Law, where he graduated magna cum laude and Order of the Coif. During law school, he served as articles and comments editor for the University of Miami Law Review and as a dean’s fellow for legal communication and research skills courses.

Prior to joining Sidley, Jonathan interned at the United States Attorney’s office in Miami and in the chambers of a federal magistrate judge, a federal district judge, and a federal appellate judge at the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals.

Before law school, Jonathan completed the World Bachelor in Business (WBB) program, earning three business degrees in four years, from the University of Southern California, Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, and Università Commerciale Luigi Bocconi. The WBB program required him to live in Los Angeles, Hong Kong, and Milan for at least an entire academic year each, as well as engage in other travel, which provided him with a global perspective and exceptional cultural acclimation skills.

Jonathan is fluent in Spanish.
