AARON MITCHELL is an associate in the Tax group in the firm's New York Office.
Aaron holds an LL.M. in Taxation from New York University and a J.D. from Texas A&M University School of Law. While in law school, Aaron served as the note and comment editor for the Texas A&M Journal of Property Law and as president of Phi Delta Phi legal honor society. Aaron earned his B.S. in economics from Texas A&M University where he served as the speaker of the student senate and was awarded the university's highest extracurricular honor, the Buck Wierus Spirit Award.
Prior to joining Sidley, Aaron worked at another firm, where he worked on various complex transaction matters include mergers and acquisitions, real estate and estate planning matters. Aaron also has experience as a law clerk at TPG and as a judicial intern in the Eastern District of Texas.
