Ryan Riemenschneider

RYAN RIEMENSCHNEIDER focuses his practice on corporate and securities law matters, including capital markets transactions, securities filings, structured products, mergers and acquisitions, private equity transactions, and shareholder activism.

Prior to joining Sidley, Ryan worked as a summer law student for the Corporate Finance Branch of the Ontario Securities Commission, where he assisted with review of prospectuses, as well as continuous disclosure requirements. The year prior, he worked as a summer legal intern for the World Bank in the Integrity Vice Presidency unit, where he supported sanctions investigations and proceedings in South Asia and MENA regions.

While attending University of Toronto Faculty of Law and Rotman School of Management, Ryan contributed to the Capital Markets Institute, authoring and co-authoring two papers on the international state of crypto trading platform regulations.

While attending the University of Guelph, he served as an analyst and later as a portfolio manager with the Student Investment Counsel.

• The underwriters in connection with the offering by Safehold GL Holdings LLC, the operating company of Safehold Inc., a portion of its 6.100% Senior Notes due 2034.
• The underwriters in connection with multiple public offerings of senior notes by Mid-America Apartments, L.P.
