JULIA PHILIPS ROTH is a managing associate in the Los Angeles office and a member of the firm’s Restructuring group. She focuses her practice on representing both debtors and lenders in a variety of corporate restructuring matters, including bankruptcy proceedings, out of court reorganizations and workouts, and bankruptcy-related litigation. Julia was part of the Sidley team that was recognized for the restructuring of Wave Computing, Inc. as the “Information Technology Deal of the Year” at The M&A Advisor’s 15th annual Turnaround Awards in 2021.
Julia earned her J.D. from Stanford and was a member of the Stanford Technology Law Review. She also participated in the Women of Stanford Law Mentorship Program. Julia graduated summa cum laude from Loyola University Chicago in 2013 with a B.S. in Mathematics and a B.A. in Economics.
