A Sidley UK tax team have contributed to the 20th edition of The International Comparative Legal Guide to: Corporate Tax 2024, a recently published guide which covers common corporate tax issues in over 20 jurisdictions. The UK chapter was authored by Sidley lawyers Oliver Currall, Steve Quinn, and Pranith Mehta and addresses common topics for tax payers including tax treaties and residence taxation, transaction taxes, cross-border payments, tax on business operations, capital gains, overseas profits, taxation of local subsidiaries and branches, taxation of commercial real estate, anti-avoidance and compliance regimes and BEPs, tax competition, and digital economy.
