Sidley represented Dream Sports, the owner of online fantasy sports platform Dream11, and India’s first online gaming unicorn, on their US$400 million and US$840 million secondary investments. Sidley acted as international counsel to the underwriters, Kotak Mahindra, Morgan Stanley, BofA Securities, Citigroup, ICICI Securities, and JM Financial, in connection with the US$715 million initial public offering of equity shares of FSN E-Commerce Ventures Limited (Nykaa), a digitally native consumer technology platform, delivering a content-led, lifestyle retail experience to consumers with a diverse portfolio of beauty, personal care, and fashion products. Sidley acted as international counsel to the underwriters, Axis Capital Limited, J.P. Morgan India Private Limited, Kotak Mahindra Capital Company Limited, ICICI Securities Limited, Edelweiss Financial Services Limited, IIFL Securities Limited, JM Financial Limited, YES Securities (India) Limited, SBI Capital Markets Limited, and BOB Capital Markets Limited, in relation to the US$340 million initial public offering of equity shares of Macrotech Developers Limited, one of the largest real estate developers in India.
