Sidley partners Alyssa A. Grikscheit and Paige Holden Montgomery have been recognized by Latinvex in its 2025 “Latin America’s Top 100 Female Lawyers” list. Each year, Latinvex selects “the top 100 female lawyers specializing in Latin America among international law firms.”
Alyssa has a diverse corporate practice that currently emphasizes complex transactions and alternative investment funds. Her experience also includes private equity and hedge funds, mergers and acquisitions, strategic alliances, and restructurings. Alyssa has extensive experience in international transactions, particularly those involving Latin America and other emerging markets, such as China and India.
Paige has represented companies, board committees, and bankruptcy-created trusts in internal investigations and reviews, including investigations related to alleged fraud, public disclosures, Foreign Corrupt Practices Act and other statutory violations, accounting and executive issues, and potential claims of creditors. Paige has also assisted companies with proactive risk assessments and corporate governance reform.
