Jayanthi Sadanandan Named to “100 Most Influential Women in European Finance” 2026 List

Financial News has named Jayanthi Sadanandan, a global co-leader of Sidley’s Leveraged Finance practice and a member of the firm’s Executive Committee, to the 2026 edition of its “100 Most Influential Women in European Finance” list. The annual feature, now in its 20th edition, “recognises women who are making an impact through their leadership roles and through being a visible role model for the next generation of female talent.”

Financial News has specifically highlighted both Jay’s leadership role at the firm and active practice, noting that she oversees “a finance team of more than 230 lawyers globally while advising private equity sponsors and portfolio companies on acquisition financings, refinancings and private credit deals.” Jay is a Band 1-ranked lawyer in Chambers UK, Chambers Europe, and Chambers Global, and was named to The Lawyer Hot 100 2025.
