Sidley Advises Kuvare in Launch of US$400 Million Kindley Re Sidecar

Sidley represented Kuvare Holdings in the launch of Kindley Re Ltd., a newly-formed third-party capital-backed US$400 million life and annuity reinsurance sidecar.

Bermuda-based Kindley Re was formed in partnership with Davidson Kempner Capital Management LP, and Kuvare and its affiliates. Kuvare is a technology-enabled financial services platform focused on insurance, reinsurance, and asset management solutions.

The Sidley team was led by Tony Ribaudo, Brad Drake (both Insurance), Ryan Scofield (M&A), and John Grothaus (Insurance), and included Jennifer Chae, Ramia Mitchell, Jordyn Weiss (Insurance), Eryn Berquist, Jon Litsey (M&A), Peter Edgerton, Nathan Enfield (Tax), Beth Quintana, Allison Hocevar (Investment Funds), and Banks Bruce (Global Finance).
