Sidley represented Rainmaking Global (Rainmaking) in the sale of its APAC business, Rainmaking APAC, to Bain & Company, a renowned global consultancy firm.
Rainmaking builds startup companies that leverage the advantages and strengths of corporate partners and co-founders to build and scale ventures across multiple industries.
The transaction involved the sale of the APAC arm of Rainmaking’s global venture-building and startup development operations across key markets in Singapore, Japan, and South Korea.
The Sidley team was led by Parthiv Rishi (Singapore) and supported by Ryan Lim, Kapish J. Davé (Singapore), and Tomoki Ishiara and Yosuke Iwasaki (Tokyo).
