Sidley Represents Special Committee of the Board of Directors of Utz Brands in Its US$2.9 Billion Take-Private Transaction

Sidley is representing the Special Committee of the Board of Directors of Utz Brands, Inc. (NYSE: UTZ) in its US$2.9 billion take-private transaction by Intersnack Group GmbH & Co. KG. Upon closing, Utz Brands will become a private company, with the Rice and Lissette Family Entities and Intersnack Group each owning a 50% interest in the company. Utz Brands is a leading U.S. manufacturer of snack foods, and Intersnack Group is a German family-founded multinational snack company that has grown to become a leading snack manufacturer in Europe and Oceania.
The Sidley team is being led by Scott Williams and Anika Hermann Bargfrede (M&A and Private Equity).
