Sidley advised long-time client Angel City Football Club (ACFC), the Los Angeles-based National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL) club, on its relocation to a state-of-the-art performance center on the campus of California Lutheran University. Sidley assisted ACFC with negotiating and documenting the definitive agreements for the new facility, which is the largest of its kind dedicated solely to a NWSL club. The performance center, formerly the home of the Los Angeles Rams, will undergo a multi-million dollar custom remodel to create a high-performance environment for ACFC’s players and staff. The relocation marks a significant milestone in ACFC’s commitment to player development and excellence, as well as its partnership with Cal Lutheran University.
The Sidley team was led by partner Elizabeth McCloy and associate Brandon Bryer (Real Estate) with support from partners Eric Geffner (Entertainment, Sports and Media) and Keith Del Prete (Real Estate).
