Sidley represented VoltaGrid LLC (VoltaGrid), a U.S.-based clean energy innovator, in its strategic collaboration with Oracle Corporation to deploy more than 2,300 megawatts (MW) of ultra-low-emissions power infrastructure to support the energy demands of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure’s (OCI) next-generation artificial intelligence (AI) data centers.
Through this transaction, VoltaGrid will deploy its proprietary modular, high-transient-response power platform, which provides grid-grade performance with ultra-fast response, zero reliance on battery storage, and near-zero criteria air emissions, underscoring VoltaGrid’s leadership in advanced clean energy solutions designed to meet the demanding and rapidly evolving needs of global AI infrastructure. The project also represents a significant investment in domestic manufacturing and workforce development, driving the creation of more than 750 skilled jobs across multiple U.S. regions, reflecting VoltaGrid’s commitment to sustainable energy innovation and local economic growth.
The Sidley team included Sarah Tucker, Grace Dickson Gerbas, and George Vlahakos (all Energy and Infrastructure) on all aspects of this transaction.
