KATHRYN ALLEN assists global companies in various privacy compliance and incident response matters. Kathryn helps clients build out their privacy programs, including leading data mapping exercises, drafting internal and external policies, and training employees and boards on the ever-evolving privacy landscape. She also helps healthcare, financial, manufacturing, and retail clients navigate through complex data incidents by assisting in the discovery, investigation, remediation, and notification processes. Kathryn also has led clients through multimillion dollar data sharing, technology, and software contract negotiations. Prior to joining Sidley, Kathryn worked at an AM Law 100 firm, where she assisted clients in privacy matters, responded to data incidents, and negotiated complex software agreements.
