
Biography
FAHAD AL-SADOON focuses his practice on all aspects of EU and Belgian competition law, including merger control, abuse of dominance, cartels, and state aid.
His experience covers several industries such as the life sciences, technology, pharmaceuticals, finance, and semiconductors.
Prior to joining Sidley, Fahad worked in competition practice, as a trainee in the Chambers of Judge Koen Lenaerts at the European Court of Justice, and as a trainee at the Belgian Embassy in Tel-Aviv.

- Siris Capital in its US$4.2 Billion Sale of Equiniti.
- Renesas in its sale of its Timing Business to SiTime.
- Qualcomm in its acquisition of Arduino.
- A tech company in its US$35 billion acquisition of an engineering software company.
- A medical device company in several procedures before the European Commission.
- An industrial automation company in its creation of the joint venture of a leading provider of cable management systems with an electrical infrastructure group.
Some of the above matters were handled prior to joining Sidley.
