Biography

AUSTIN ARCHER focuses his practice on complex business transactions, including M&A and private equity investments, as well as on corporate governance and securities compliance matters.

Austin earned his J.D., summa cum laude, from the University of Illinois College of Law and was elected to the Order of the Coif. While attending law school, Austin received the “Rickert Award for Academic Excellence” and multiple CALI Awards. Also during this time, Austin served as executive editor for the University of Illinois Law Review and as a judicial extern to the Honorable Magistrate Judge Heather K. McShain of the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. Austin earned his B.B.A. with a double major in finance and economics from the University of Notre Dame.

Prior to law school, Austin spent several years as a financial analyst for an economic consulting firm.
