Biography

DANIELLE COSSEY focuses her practice on U.S. trade remedies and compliance with trade enforcement actions.

Prior to joining Sidley, Danielle served as an attorney at the U.S. Department of Commerce’s Office of Chief Counsel for Trade Enforcement and Compliance.

While at the Department of Commerce, Danielle drafted trial court and appellate briefs defending complex trade remedies matters before the U.S. Court of International Trade and U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, and she argued before an arbitration panel constituted under the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement. Additionally, she advised the Office of Enforcement and Compliance on its investigation and review of anti-dumping and countervailing duty proceedings, as well as related customs issues. 

During law school, Danielle was a Presidential Merit Scholar and member of the George Washington International Law Review.
