Biography
FILIPPO DURAZZO advises leading private equity sponsors and their portfolio companies on cross-border transactions, such as control transactions, structured and hybrid capital investments, other minority investments, carve-outs, divestitures, co-investments, recapitalizations, refinancings, and joint ventures. Filippo has advised on a broad range of transactions in the UK and across continental Europe (including Italy, Spain, the Netherlands, and more). He has worked with clients investing in a broad range of sectors, such as financial services, industrials, gaming, food and beverage, healthcare, and retail.
Filippo also advises Italian companies in cross-border M&A and joint venture transactions in the U.S., UK, and Germany, as well as in finance transactions.

Representative Matters
Filippo’s recent experience includes advising:
- Juventus Football Club S.p.A. on the successful private placement of its €150 million bond issuance.
- Ariston Group, a global leader in sustainable climate and water comfort, in its joint venture with Lennox.
- Evri, a portfolio company of funds managed by affiliates of Apollo Global Management, Inc., in its merger with DHL eCommerce, the e-commerce logistics specialist of DHL Group.
- Funds managed by affiliates of Apollo Global Management, Inc. in:
- the acquisition of Evri, one of the UK’s largest parcel delivery companies, from Advent International;
- the acquisition of The Travel Corporation;
- the acquisition of United Living Group.
- Lottomatica Group S.p.A (formerly known as Gamenet Group S.p.A.), a portfolio company of funds managed by affiliates of Apollo Global Management, Inc. in its €639 million acquisition of SKS365.
- One Equity Partners and Buckthorn Partners in their Acquisition of Acteon Group.
- Portfolio company of a U.S. private equity sponsor in a complex sale and lease back transaction concerning assets in Italy and Spain.
- Dutch company in a minority investment in an Italian e-commerce company, and subsequent joint venture relating to such investment.
- Dutch/Italian companies in the acquisition of multiple Italian companies operating in the healthcare industry.
- Multiple Italian public and private companies in their cross-border transfer of their legal seat to the Netherlands, and concurrent restructuring of their capital structure.
- Singaporean investment company in the minority investment in an Italian company operating in the luxury fashion industry.
