Sidley is representing Evri, a portfolio company of funds managed by affiliates of Apollo Global Management, Inc. (“Apollo”), in its merger with DHL eCommerce (“DHL”), the e-commerce logistics specialist of DHL Group.
DHL will acquire a significant minority stake and merge its British e-commerce unit into Evri, one of the UK’s largest parcel delivery companies, to create the UK’s premier parcel delivery business. Evri will remain majority-owned by Apollo.
The combined group will deliver over one billion parcels and one billion letters annually with a team of over 30,000 couriers and van drivers, 12,000 employees, and a fleet of 8,000 vehicles.
Sidley previously advised Apollo in its acquisition of Evri from Advent International in Q3 2024.
