Biography
FLORA GONZALEZ focuses her practice on domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, strategic acquisitions and dispositions, equity investments, and general corporate matters. She represents clients across several industries, including healthcare, life sciences, technology, energy, and infrastructure.
Prior to joining Sidley, Flora was an M&A associate at another international law firm based in New York.
Flora earned her J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center, where she served as an articles editor of the Georgetown Journal of Legal Ethics. During law school, she was also a judicial intern for The Honorable Nelson S. Román of the U.S. District Court of the Southern District of New York. She received her B.A. in music, cum laude, from Queens College.
