Biography
MEE KYUNG (MK) HAN focuses her practice on representing private equity sponsors and strategic investors in domestic and cross-border transactions and investments, including mergers and acquisitions, leveraged buyouts, carveouts, joint ventures, minority investments, recapitalizations and restructuring transactions. She has experience in a wide range of industries with a focus on the healthcare and industrials sectors. She also advises clients on general corporate and governance matters.
MK received her J.D. from Columbia Law School and was recognized as a James Kent Scholar (2016) and a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar (2015). While attending Columbia, she served as the senior development editor of the Columbia Business Law Review.

Representative Matters
- FTAI Infrastructure, Inc. in its US$1.05 billion acquisition of Wheeling Corporation and its railroad subsidiaries, Wheeling & Lake Erie Railway Company and Akron Barberton Cluster Railway Company.
- The Rohatyn Group, an investment firm specializing in emerging markets and real assets, in its US$710 million acquisition of an entity that holds Rayonier Inc.’s 77% interest in Matariki Forestry Group, a New Zealand joint venture.
- Arsenal Capital Partners in connection with various platform investments and add-on acquisitions, including those relating to MaxHealth, OncoHealth, Lumanity and Hopebridge.
- American Industrial Partners (AIP) in its US$700 million acquisition of the Grain & Protein business of AGCO Corporation (NYSE: AGCO), a large precision agriculture technology and machinery company.
- Carlstar Group LLC (Carlstar) in its US$296 million acquisition by Titan International, Inc. (NYSE: TWI).
- Exiger in connection with a majority investment by funds managed by global investment firm Carlyle (NASDAQ: CG) and global software investor Insight Partners.
- Bridgepoint Advisors Group Ltd. in the sale of its stake in Blume Global Inc. to WiseTech Global Ltd.
