Biography

VICTOR HILTNER represents individuals and corporations at all stages of litigation, with a focus on appeals.

Before rejoining Sidley, Victor clerked for Chief Judge Michael Chagares of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit and Judge Jia Cobb of the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia. He received his J.D., summa cum laude, from Northwestern Pritzker School of Law, where he received the “John Paul Stevens Prize” for graduating first in his class. While at Northwestern, Victor served as an executive editor of the Northwestern University Law Review and participated in the school’s Supreme Court Clinic. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of California, Berkeley.
