Jonathan H. Koh

JONATHAN KOH counsels clients on a broad range of real estate transactions, including purchase and sale transactions, mortgage and mezzanine loan originations and restructurings, joint ventures, and leasing. These matters involve a wide variety of asset types, including hotel and hospitality, restaurants and retail, office, healthcare, multi-family, industrial, and mixed-use projects.

Jonathan has been recognized as an “Associate to Watch” by Chambers USA for Real Estate in California: Southern (2025–2026). Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch® in America has recognized Jonathan for his work in Real Estate Law (2026).

Jonathan earned his J.D. from the University of Southern California Gould School of Law, where he was senior editor of the Southern California Law Review. He graduated from the University of California, San Diego with a B.A. in both Economics, cum laude, and in Classical Studies, magna cum laude.

• SlateView Capital in the formation of a joint venture with an institutional partner and in connection with the acquisition of Meadowbrook at Agoura Hills, a 156-unit assisted living and memory care community in Agoura Hills, California.
• Mas Restaurant Group (MRG), a franchisee of Taco Bell restaurants in the Houston, Texas and Columbus, Ohio metropolitan areas, in the sale of its 43 Ohio locations to Southpaw.
• J.S. Held, LLC, a global consulting firm, in acquisitions of Clark Seif Clark and CMM, LLP. Clark Seif Clark is an environmental consulting and industrial hygiene firm, and CMM is a forensic accounting and litigation consulting firm.
• Lido Advisors, in its partnership with Jackson Hole Capital Partners, an independent wealth management firm.
• Great Gulf on the development of Mandarin Oriental Residences, West Palm Beach, the brand’s first standalone residential project in South Florida.
• Siris, a private equity firm with a technology infrastructure sector focus, in its agreement to acquire a majority stake in TAKKION.
