Biography

ERIC MA focuses his practice on energy, finance, and corporate matters.

Eric earned his J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law and his MBA from the University of Virginia Darden School of Business. During law school, Eric interned at the U.S. Department of Justice, Tax Division, Civil Appellate Section. He also participated in the International and European Tax Moot Court, where he received the award for best individual advocate for the defendant. Eric served as staff editor for the Virginia Tax Review, as well as the Virginia Law and Business Review.

Prior to law school, Eric worked as an analyst at a major global banking institution. He is a Financial Risk Manager (FRM), certified by the Global Association of Risk Professionals (GARP), and passed Level II of the Charted Financial Analyst (CFA) program.

Eric is fluent in Mandarin Chinese.
