SILVIA MAGLIO advises on a broad range of cross-border corporate M&A and private equity transactions. Prior to joining Sidley, Silvia worked at another international law firm in Italy where she gained experience in the firm’s corporate and M&A practice.

Silvia’s experience includes advising:

• Apollo Funds in their strategic minority equity investment in Charles Monat Associates.
• Apollo-managed funds and affiliates in connection with the launch of TenFifty Capital, a new European-focused commercial real estate lending platform.
• Apollo-managed funds in their acquisition of a majority stake in Kelvion, a leading global provider of energy-efficient heat exchange and cooling solutions, from funds advised by Triton Partners.
• Athora Holding Ltd. in its approximately £5.7 billion acquisition of Pension Insurance Corporation Group Limited (pending).
• A European investment management firm on the acquisition of a leading Italian digital infrastructure operator.
• An Italian-listed company operating in the renewable energy sector on the sale of its majority interest, the cash tender offer launched by buyer on its remaining share capital and its delisting from the Italian Stock Exchange.
• Italian apparel producers on the sale of their entire corporate capital to a leading industrial platform in the luxury sector.
• A leading service provider in the global water sector on the acquisition of an Italian manufacturer of wastewater treatment systems.
• French manufacturer of engineered and coated fabrics for niche markets on the acquisition of the entire corporate capital of Italian manufacturers operating in the technical composite materials market.
• French subsidiary of a global manufacturer of medical devices on the acquisition of an Italian distributor of biomedical products.
