ROBERT MCMAHON supports all stages of litigation and represents clients across a range of industries including technology and media, and privacy law matters.
Prior to joining Sidley, Robert participated in Sidley’s Pro Bono Fellowship Program, working for the Public Counsel Law Center where he assisted with litigation relating to debtor’s rights and economic justice.
While in law school, Robert participated in Loyola Law School’s Ninth Circuit Appellate Clinic, where he argued before the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals and won a partial remand on behalf of an immigrant mother and child. Robert was also chief production editor of the Loyola of Los Angeles Law Review, served as a law clerk in the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office, and externed for the Honorable John A. Kronstadt. Earlier in his career Robert worked for a Class AA baseball team and taught eighth grade English.
