DIANA OVSEPIAN is a senior managing associate in the Global Hospitality group and advises hotel management companies, operators, institutional investors, hedge funds, private equity firms, REITs, lenders, investment banks and other real estate investors in all facets of domestic and cross-border hospitality transactions, including the development, acquisition, disposition, and financing of hotels, resorts, and other mixed-use projects. Drawing on her industry knowledge, strong working relationships and business focused approach, the breadth of Diana’s practice includes negotiating complex management agreements, join ventures, mortgage and mezzanine financing and complex single-asset and portfolio acquisitions and dispositions.
Diana holds a Certification in Hospitality and Tourism Law from American University, Washington College of Law. She attends and speaks on hospitality and real estate topics at hotel conferences and other industry events, including the New York University International Hospitality Industry Investment Conference, the Americas Lodging and Investment Summit and the Hospitality and Tourism Law program. She served as production editor and staff editor of the Loyola of Los Angeles Law Review and was a judicial extern for the Honorable Paul L. Abrams of the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California. Diana is also involved in community causes by assisting clients on a pro bono basis, including in connection with community outreach programs and adoptions.
