ANDY RODHEIM maintains a diverse complex litigation practice. He represents and advises large and small companies in a variety of litigation and arbitration matters, including high-stakes contract disputes, consumer class actions, bankruptcy litigation, securities matters, antitrust matters, and appeals.
Andy has substantial experience in all aspects of litigation. He has drafted dispositive motions in federal and state court, drafted appellate briefs in federal courts of appeals and state appellate courts, and drafted certiorari petitions, amicus briefs, and merits briefs at the Supreme Court of the United States. He has argued motions and appeals in federal and state court. He has worked with fact and expert witnesses in advance of deposition and trial testimony and examined fact and expert witnesses at trial. And he has experience in all aspects of discovery, including developing and executing overall case strategy, negotiating and litigating disputes, taking and defending depositions, and day-to-day case management
Andy received his J.D., magna cum laude, from Northwestern University School of Law, where he received the John Paul Stevens Prize for graduating first in his class. While at Northwestern, Andy served as a managing editor of the Northwestern University Law Review and participated in the school’s Supreme Court Clinic. Andy received his B.A. in political science and economics, magna cum laude, from Northwestern University.
Prior to joining Sidley, Andy served as a law clerk to Judge Joel M. Flaum of the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit.
