ZUZA SAVOFF is a tax associate in the firm’s New York office. She focuses her practice on the tax aspects relating to structured finance, securitization and fund formation. Zuza’s principal areas of experience include mortgage and asset-backed transactions, collateralized loan and debt obligations, real estate mortgage investment conduits, securitization of non-performing and re-performing loans and capital markets. Zuza also has broad experience representing private equity funds as well as domestic and foreign hedge funds.
Prior to joining Sidley, Zuza practiced at another major law firm, where she worked primarily in the firm’s Tax group.
Zuza received her J.D. from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law and her L.L.M in taxation from New York University School of Law.
