Sidley acted as issuer’s counsel to Arbor Realty CRE Notes 2025-BTR1, LLC, parent Arbor Realty Trust Inc., and other affiliated entities, in the establishment and issuance of a US$802 million CRE CLO securitization. Arbor Realty Trust is a nationwide real estate investment trust (REIT) and direct lender that invests in a diversified portfolio of structured finance assets in the multifamily, single-family rental, and commercial real estate markets in the United States.
The assets consist of a managed portfolio of bridge commercial mortgage loans backed by real estate build-to-rent properties. The securitization is the first of its kind to include commercial real estate loans secured by properties in various stages of horizontal and vertical construction.
