Biography
MORGAN SMITH focuses her practice on complex business transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, and private equity investments, as well as corporate governance and disclosure matters.
Morgan earned her J.D. from the University of Chicago Law School, where she worked as a research assistant on securities regulation and corporate governance projects for Professor Adriana Z. Robertson and as a law clerk for the Institute for Justice Clinic on Entrepreneurship. While in law school, Morgan also served on the executive board of the Chicago Law Foundation.
Prior to law school, Morgan earned her Bachelor of Journalism, summa cum laude, from the University of Missouri.
