ROBERT C. UHL is a member of Sidley’s Government Strategies group, counseling clients facing complex and high stakes Congressional investigations, legislation, and government regulation.
Robert is also a member of Sidley’s Corporate Mergers & Acquisitions/Private Equity group, advising public and private companies across industries on cross-border corporate and transactional matters throughout the United States, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia. His practice includes drafting substantive agreements, conducting due diligence, analyzing international compliance issues and strategies, negotiating deal terms, and coordinating with clients and targets to solve problems.
Robert regularly researches the latest political, national security, and intelligence issues facing the United States and provides pro bono services to veterans applying for combat-related special compensation.
While attending law school, Robert completed externships with the United States Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of Texas and with the Mark Cuban Companies. Robert earned his J.D. from the SMU Dedman School of Law and his B.B.A. in Finance (with a minor in Constitutional Studies) from the University of Notre Dame.
