EMILY M. WAJERT is an associate in the firm’s Century City office and member of the Labor, Employment and Immigration group. Emily represents employers in a variety of employment-related claims and disputes, including discrimination, retaliation, failure to accommodate, restrictive covenant, and bonus claims. She also assists clients in compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and advises clients on a wide array of issues, including transactional matters and mergers and acquisitions (both buy-side and sell-side). Emily works closely with clients in conducting workplace investigations involving allegations of sexual harassment, violation of workplace policies, and financial improprieties. She also advises clients on COVID-19 workplace issues, including return-to-work polices, remote work operations, and handling furloughs and layoffs in accordance with local, state, and federal law.
Emily represents clients across various industries including media and entertainment, financial services, technology, and e-commerce.
