Sidley Represents MERIT in Minority Investment by SEMCAP Beauty & Wellness

Sidley is representing beauty brand MERIT in connection with a minority investment by SEMCAP Beauty & Wellness. The investment was led by SEMCAP Beauty & Wellness managing partner Vasiliki Petrou, who previously founded and led Unilever Prestige. Petrou will join MERIT’s board to support the brand’s continued growth and global expansion.

The Sidley team is being led by David Grinberg and Emily Zipperstein (M&A and Private Equity) and includes Jack Zeringue, C.J. Burton, and Keanu Balani (M&A and Private Equity); Emily Wajert (Labor, Employment, and Immigration); Elizabeth Burns (Employee Benefits and Executive Compensation); Justin Nowell (Corporate Governance); and Jonathan Westreich (Tax).
