Sidley has handled complex litigation involving the legal qualification of a number of providers, and counseled wireless clients on federal regulatory policies affecting their industry, including the FCC’s auction process, emergency 911 services, local number portability and interconnection. Among other matters, Sidley lawyers represented Telephone and Data Systems, Inc. and United States Cellular Corporation in connection with a 2006 exchange of certain assets with ALLTEL Communications, Inc., a subsidiary of ALLTEL Corp.
