An Open Letter to the IRS. Re: The Next chapter of U.S. Tax Administration—Observations and Recommendations
November/December 2018
This article serves as an open letter to Commissioner [Charles P.] Rettig and Chief Counsel nominee [Michael J.] Desmond to convey recommendations for the improvement of tax administration. These recommendations are based on own experiences interacting with the agency, as well as detailed discussions with numerous senior tax officers at leading corporations about their perspectives.
