Dr. Marcus Klie Named Among Germany’s Top M&A Lawyers by WirtschaftsWoche

Dr. Marcus Klie has been named a “Top Lawyer for M&A” by WirtschaftsWoche for 2026, the publication’s annual ranking of lawyers in Germany. In creating the list, the Handelsblatt Research Institute surveyed more than 5,800 lawyers from 290 law firms.

Based in Sidley’s Munich office, Dr. Marcus Klie focuses on all aspects of German business and corporate law, in particular on cross-border and national M&A, private equity and venture capital transactions, public tender offers, and corporate restructurings. In addition, Marcus regularly advises on German stock corporation and capital markets law as well as corporate governance topics.
