Jayanthi Sadanandan and Sam Hamilton Named to Private Equity News’ “Twenty Most Influential Private Equity Lawyers 2026”

Jayanthi Sadanandan and Sam Hamilton have been named to Private Equity News’ “Twenty Most Influential Private Equity Lawyers 2026” list. The list recognizes the top lawyers in Europe guiding the region’s most significant private equity deals and fundraisings. Both Jay and Sam were also previously recognized on this list in 2025.

Jay is a global co-leader of the firm’s Leveraged Finance practice. She has spent more than two decades advising private equity firms, portfolio companies, corporates, and other borrowers on a wide range of transactions. Jay was ranked in Band 1 for Banking & Finance: Big-Ticket in Chambers UK 2025, Chambers Europe 2026, and Chambers Global 2026, and was named to The Lawyer Hot 100 2025.

Sam is a global co-leader of the firm’s Leveraged Finance practice. He has more than 25 years’ experience working on a broad range of complex leveraged finance transactions. He has particular experience advising private equity sponsors across a range of finance products. Sam has been recognized for over a decade in the “Hall of Fame” for Acquisition Finance in Legal 500 UK, including most recently in 2026, and was named among Financial News’ Fifty Most Influential Lawyers” for 2025.
