Kieran Sharma Named to “Outstanding Young Restructuring Lawyers 2026” List

Turnarounds & Workouts has included Kieran Sharma, a partner in Sidley’s London office, in its “Outstanding Young Restructuring Lawyers 2026” list. The annual feature highlights 12 restructuring lawyers under 40 globally, with outstanding achievements from the previous 12 months. Turnarounds & Workouts has highlighted Kieran’s work on Sino-Ocean's restructuring of US$6 billion of its offshore debt, Kaisa on its restructuring of approximately US$12.3 billion in offshore debt, and the Class B Bondholders of Thames Water in relation to its £3 billion rescue financing proposal.

Kieran has a wide range of experience in cross-border restructurings advising sponsors, debtors, creditors, and strategic investors on restructurings of stressed and distressed businesses. He also has experience advising leading hedge funds and private equity houses in relation to their due diligence and review of European investment opportunities in stressed and distressed situations.
