The Deal, Debtwire, Octus, LevFin Insights, and BankruptcyData have released their Q1 2025 restructuring league table rankings. Sidley showed strong results, ranking among the top five in several categories.

• LevFin Insights ranked Sidley first, in a tie with another firm, in debtor representations by market share, holding a 14% share; and second in creditor representations by total debt represented, with US$1.5 billion.
• BankruptcyData ranked Sidley first, in a tie with two other firms, for bankruptcy counsel representing ad hoc groups; and fourth for bankruptcy counsel representing debtors.
• The Deal ranked Sidley among the top two firms for distressed companies in out-of-court restructuring transactions.
• Octus U.S. ranked Sidley as the third-most frequently retained legal advisor based on the number of company engagements.
• Debtwire ranked Sidley fourth among lead counsel to debtors in Chapter 11 (YTD as of end-March).
