Sidley Represents ElectronX in Its US$30 Million Series A Financing

Sidley represented ElectronX, a powerful derivatives market exchange built to enable precision risk management in U.S. electricity markets and backed by an elite consortium of global energy, quantitative trading, and technology venture capital firms, in its US$30 million Series A financing round led by DCVC, and joined by trading firms XTX Markets, Five Rings, and GTS and energy venture funds NGP and JACS Capital. This round also included participation from existing investors Innovation Endeavors, Systemiq Capital, Equinor Ventures, and Shell Ventures.

The Sidley team was led by Dr. Idan Netser and Jake Funk (Emerging Companies and Venture Capital) and included Celine Gruaz and Samantha Carvalho (Emerging Companies and Venture Capital), and Nicolas Frey (Employee Benefits and Executive Compensation).
