Sidley represented Jane Street Global Trading as the lead investor in a US$700 million financing round for X-Energy Reactor Company, LLC, a leader in advanced nuclear reactor and fuel technology, and in an US$800 million financing round for Kraken, the a leading global cryptocurrency platform. Jane Street was joined by new and existing investors in these headline investment transactions securing both companies with significant capital to further expand their operations.
